Polls are open on Election Day from 7 AM - 8 PM

March 5, 2024 - Presidential Nomination Primary

August 13, 2024 - Primary Election

November 5, 2024 - General Election

Local Candidates two City Council seats and the Mayor seat are up for election on November 5th.



Polling Places  - Where do I vote? 

The City of St. Joseph is divided into three precincts and subsequently has three polling places.

Precinct 1 - Residents residing west of County Road 121/College Avenue/County Rd 2

Polling Place: Heritage Hall, 12 Minnesota St W

Precinct 2 - Residents residing east of County Road 121/College Avenue/County Rd 2 and South of County Rd 75

Polling Place: St. Joseph Government Center, 75 Callaway St E

Precinct 3 - Residents residing east of County Road 121/College Avenue/County Rd 2 and North of County Rd 75

Polling Place: Resurrection Lutheran Church, 610 County Road 2

FEDERAL OFFICES - The State of Minnesota has 2 Senators & 8 House Representatives and they are as follows: 
* Senator Amy Klobuchar & Senator Tina Smith
* The state is divided into 8 Congressional Districts and St. Joseph is in District 6. The Representative for District 6 is Rep. Tom Emmer.

STATE OFFICES - As a result of the 2020 Census, St. Joseph is divided into 3 precincts being represented by two districts.

PRECINCT 1 (IN RED) & PRECINCT 3 (IN PURPLE)
* MN Senate District 13 - Senator Jeff Howe
* MN House District 13A - Representative Lisa Demuth

PRECINCT 2 (IN GREEN)
* MN Senate District 14 - Senator Aric Putnam
